Situated close to the banks of the River Seine in this outer suburb of the capital, the Absinthe Museum is an interesting exhibition dedicated to the potent spirit that has been part of French life for many hundreds of years. Toulouse Lautrec was of course family inspired in his work by the hallucinations he received from the drink and the museum explores the many people that have enjoyed the drink and gone on to find creative success. There is also an exhibition into the history of the drink and the processes used to make it.
