This beautiful building has always been one of the most important in the history of Colmar. The old customs house, built in 1480, has for a border town seen a great deal of change between French and German cultures throughout the centuries. In recent decades the building has been used as a multi-purpose venue. It hosts an eclectic and rich variety of exhibitions and performances, from art shows to musical recitals and popular music concerts.
