This garden is by far the most exotic of the three gardens that were developed in the back of the Chateau de Chantilly. It was created in the 1770s, when the fascination with all things oriental was at a peak in the western world. A great collection of Chinese plants were brought back from the east to help make this area as authentic as possible. Designed to be an immaculate oasis of tranquillity, the garden is dominated by small waterways that meander through the place.
