This is the heart of what the people in the town call the ‘summer quarter’. The beach stretches for well over a kilometre along the northern coast of Arcachon, directly looking out into the picturesque Arcachon Basin. The fine beach is a very popular place for local people and visitors to gather in the summer months. There are a series of facilities that line the back of the beach where food and other refreshments are available throughout the day.
