Aubrac is a very small community and is dominated by this fine church which has a very long history. The area was once dominated by the Romans and the church has its foundations well over a thousand years ago, adopting a Roman style. The main framework of the modern church was put together in the 16th Century and the building has a simple and strong almost military feel to it, framing the smaller buildings in the area nicely.
