A huge expanse of parkland, this is one of the few open air pastoral environments available for a long way around this urban area of France. Surrounded by some fine examples of mature trees and interwoven with shrubs, plants and flowers it is a popular place for local people and tourists to go when they wish to get away from the stresses of modern town and city life and feel like a step back to nature.
