This museum was founded in the mid 19th Century in a beautiful town house on one of the main roads that runs through the centre of this small town. The idea behind the museum was to collect together some of the finest items of the time, be that art work, furniture or other crafted and gilded pieces to store for the future. Today it is like walking back in time as you stroll around this beautifully decorated house full of history.
