Situated to the south of this small community, the forest is a popular day out for people who are staying nearby. The huge canopy of the dense green area protects the floor of the forest from many of the elements, thus allowing for an almost unique eco system to have developed. There are countless examples of birds and animals, not to mention the many hundreds of rare plants that exist along the walking trails.
