These gardens are some of the most beautifully kept and landscaped in the whole of the city. They are situated just behind the cathedral and town hall, close to the former bishop’s palace site. They are well protected from the rest of the city by lines of mature trees, hedgerows, flower beds and shrubs. The views of the city from the garden are second to none and attract visitors throughout the year to marvel at the panorama.
