This is a community that has always been extremely close to nature, in every sense. The people feel a great kinship with the vast woodlands and indeed cannot really avoid them as they surround the entire village, making it an oasis of humanity in a world that really belongs to nature. The woods are a great place to go for a walk in the summer time, watching shafts of sunlight cut through gaps in the trees as you observe French nature unfolding.
