Situated next to the Archaeology Museum of Dijon, and included in the same ticket price, the Museum of Burgundy Life takes visitors on a fascinating journey through the way people have lived for many thousands of years in this area of France. It has always been an important place in the power struggles of the country, the Duke of Burgundy, having a significant powerbase and following, has given him leverage over the monarch. The museum is housed in a 17th Century convent building.
