To the south of this small village is a spectacular area of forest that attracts tourists and nature lovers from across the region. The dense canopy of the forest has created a world underneath that is quite different to the landscape that surrounds it. Popular with walkers, there are several tracks which lead through the woodland, and ion these paths you are treated to a display of unusual wildlife and plants that are uncommon in this area of the country.
