This delightful little park is a historic place of pastoral splendour, set inside the walls of the citadel. It is quite unusual for there to be a park or gardens within a fortress, but in this case, the beautiful greenery of the park was laid out to represent exactly what Corsica stands for, a fine island of outstanding beauty. Just as it always has, the fine park attracts visitors throughout the year to sit, rest and relax, surround by plant and wildlife.
