France is not without its fare share of beautiful forests, especially this area of the country. Located a few miles outside of the small historic village of Chatillon is this vast expanse of forest that is a beacon to wildlife and plants that usually wouldn’t be found in the local community. The forest is popular with walkers, ramblers, and cyclists who enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and the extremely untouched natural beauty of the forest floor. There are several tracks laid out in some areas of the forest.
