The Penitent order has always had a large presence in towns and cities across the southern regions of France. This beautiful chapel is an archetypical example of the type of building that they built and frequent. Much like most Penitent churches and chapels there has been a great focus on the internal aesthetics with this structure, filled with interesting and rare collections of religious icons and art.
