This wonderful castle overlooks the community and has for many centuries been one of the centrepieces of the town of Blois. It has a long and bloody history that can be traced through the four very distinct time periods of the building work. There is a 13th Century medieval section, a Gothic section, Renaissance building work as well as 17th Century classical styles used. It is a fascinating place to walk around and live a little piece of history.
