Chateau de Compiegne
Place du Général de Gaulle, Compiegne 60200 - France

Map
Without a doubt one of the key attractions that bring visitors to the town, this beautiful royal palace is a jewel in the crown of the architecture in Compiegne. The palace has been remodelled on several occasions, most notably after it was completely gutted and reworked by Napoleon III. It was used by he to entertain the great hunting parties that he would invite from some of the most powerful families from across Europe. One of the highlights is the Imperial Apartments, used by Napoleon I.
