An impressive and dominant piece of architecture, like most villages that are associated closely with a chateau, in a way the community loses its identity to the great building and the rich and noble folk who have lived within it. In this case, the building compliments the area and there has always been a close relationship between those in the chateau and those in the town. There are some fine gardens that surround the building.
