Housed in one of the most beautiful houses in Chatillon, the main town museum is within a 16th Century Renaissance property, a stunning piece of architecture that really dominates the area. Within the museum is a fine collection of artefacts and documents that relate to the rich and colourful history of the town and surrounding areas. The museum is home to the pride and joy of the town which are some of the gold items that were found belonging to the Celtic and Greek explorations of the 1950s.
