France has always had a love affair with the theatre and it is hard to find a town or city in the country that doesn’t have at least one first class venue for stage entertainment. This good sized well maintained municipal theatre is certainly no exception and offers a range of interesting performances throughout the year. Many of the shows are put on by local theatre groups although there are some visiting companies that perform from time to time.
