The Tour de l‘Horloge, or the clock tower, is one of the defining features of the town of Chinon. A large building at the entrance to the chateau, all those who want to enter the castle must pass under it. A working timepiece still, the tower has inside a series of rooms that are dedicated to the life and career of Joan of Arc. The exhibition is open to the public throughout the year who are also treated to an interesting internal architectural style.
