This beach is slightly less well known than the main Arcachon Beach, situated to the east of the main town centre area. The beautiful sands that wash up on the edge of the Arcachon Basin are extremely popular with locals, but generally not as full of visiting tourists. The area therefore offers a slightly less busy beach scene, although with less facilities nearby. The views of the Arcachon Basin from this particular beach are breathtaking on a summer’s day.
