Situated to the west of the oldest part of the town, this great area of open green land is dedicated to rest and relaxation. It has been designated by the local authority as a protected area where local people and visitors can go to escape from the bustle of the centre of the village, but most importantly enjoy a little pastoral bliss. The French have a grand tradition of landscaping parks and gardens, and this spot is no exception, overlooked by mature trees and containing flowerbeds.
