The Grand Rue is one of the oldest, most historic and more elegant of all the streets in the beautiful city of Cognac. If you want to get a feel for how people have lived in this community for many hundreds of years, and the impact the export of the famous brandy all over the world has had on the streets of the city, this is probably one of the best places to head for. The fine street has examples of some of the oldest and most interestingly decorated houses in the region on show.
