The Grande Plage is a wonderful beach located at the heart of Dinard, tucked away in the major bay that cuts into the town centre. The beach has always been one of the premier places of rest and relaxation for the local people and the many visitors to the area. Surrounded by fashionable bars, restaurants, hotels and casinos, it is definitely the place to be, and be seen in Dinard. Picasso used the beach as a setting for several of his paintings in the 1920s.
