This museum is housed in what once was a large tobacco warehouse. Within the centre visitors are treated to an extensive collection of models of ships that date back through the ages, celebrating the sea and the connection that it has always had with this town. There are artefacts and documents that help bring to life the story of Dunkirk, and of course the most famous naval retreat of all time which took place on the beaches of the town during the Second World War.
