Henri Martin was born in Cahors and is considered to be one of the city’s most famous sons of the modern age. He was a great painter whose work has adorned museums and galleries across the world since the mid 20th Century. This museum carries a selection of Martin’s work, but also has a large collection of archaeological artefacts that have been excavated from the local area and help to trace the rich and interesting history of the city.
