In the summer months, the area turns from a ski dominated town to a place where people come to enjoy the tremendous natural beauty of the area. Surrounding the village are walking and hiking tracks that lead up the mountains and through the dense forest that line the contours of the land. Within the forests you will see deer and other animals as well as many thousands of varieties of rare plant life.
