This wonderful collection is housed in a traditional Norman house at the heart of the old town in Bayeux. The exhibitions and museum are largely made up of the private collection of Baron Gérard, a local landowner and dignitary who built up a large vast collection in his lifetime. Dating from the 15th Century to the 19th Century, it is filled with examples of porcelain, fine lace making and many paintings from across the continent of Europe.
