This large park is situated in the east of the town and offers a place of peace and quiet, away from the busy shopping streets and roads. The park has a large sporting bias and has a stadium at the heart of it which plays host to local football and rugby games. The interestingly landscaped green area is well wooded around the edges and in places has flowers and shrubs that make it a beautiful place to simply sit back and watch the world go by.
