This is a fairly serious aquarium and place of ocean research, located on the edge of the old town area of Concarneau. Open to the public, this research centre is concerned with a whole host of projects related to the sea and the animals that live within it, both in this area of France and across the world. There are many tanks that contain live samples of fish and sea life that help to paint a picture of what goes on in the oceans deep.
