A magnificent piece of ecclesiastical architecture, the Metropole Cathedral towers high into the sky above the town of Chambery. Built in the 15th and 16th Century, the church has been constructed using a variety of architectural styles and building practices, with a little Gothic and classical thrown in. The fine church is just as exciting on the inside, with an amazing series of stone carvings and stained glass to view.
