There are many museums and exhibitions at the heart of the city, but few are as interesting and engaging as this centre which is dedicated to the cultural growth of the city and its surrounding areas. It concentrates on tracing the history of the people rather than the politics of the community all the way back to times before there were houses and developments that we see today. There are some extremely carefully studied reconstructions of ancient villages that visitors are welcome to walk around and get a taste for an ancient world that has long since disappeared.
