This fine art museum is one of the best collections open to the public in the centre of Bordeaux. It has a good collection of paintings by French artists from the 17th and 18th Century, but also has an extensive set of Paintings by Dutch, Flemish and Italian painters. The centre is housed in a good looking building close to the centre of the city, and is within waking distance of many of the other attractions.
