This area of northern France was ravaged by the Second World War and the Nazi occupation of the region. The resistance movement were a group of extremely brave men and women who worked under cover, at great risk to themselves, to help the Allied forces regain control of occupied Europe. This museum is dedicated to the many local people that were involved and shows through documents and artefacts the lengths they went to helping the cause.
