An institution in the Avignon cultural scene, the opera house has for many generations been a place where people meet and enjoy fine productions. The grand structure is one of the centrepieces of the evening entertainment scene in the old city and is extremely popular with local people and the tens of thousands of visitors who come from across the world to Avignon every week.
