This building is one of the most important and centrally located in the vast city of Dijon. The impressive structure has stood for many hundreds of years as a seat of power to the various Dukes of Burgundy, who have overseen the city and the region. The building was extensively remodelled in a neo-classical style in the 17th and 18th Century and remains one of the architectural gems of central Dijon. Open to the public, there are various tours of the building available.
