These attractive gardens are known as the ‘Petit Park’ although in real terms they are quite a large area of land. They were originally the official gardens of the chateau, separating it from the large forest behind. Some of the most beautiful plants and flowers have been planted in the marvellously landscaped formal gardens that are essentially in an English style. It is a great place to go for a stroll on a summer’s day, taking in the colours and smells of nature.
