This beautiful square is one of the central places for locals and tourists to gather, just north of the main cathedral in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand. The area has become extremely well known because of the fantastic Fontaine d’Amboise that stands at the heart of it. From this point it is possible to obtain brilliant views of the surrounding cityscape and the mountains of central France beyond. Keep in mind that it is beast visited on a clear day.
