A large public square, Place St. Pierre has for many years acted as a place of meeting and trading for the local people. There are several fine cafes and bars in the vicinity which attract people to sit and watch the world go by. The square is a good place to get a good view of some of the smart external features of the nearby Saint Pierre Church which casts a shadow into the square and has dominated the development of the area.
