This beautiful gateway to the old city is one of four that stood around the fortified community. This particular piece of architecture was designed and built during the reign of Constantine and represents one of the best preserved parts of the original walls. The gateway is formed of four arches, two large ones that vehicles can travel through and two smaller arches that are reserved for pedestrian traffic. This is one of the iconic symbols of the town.
