The French people have had a long love affair with racing horses and host some of the most famous and well respected race meetings in the world, and produce some of the best racehorses to attend events across Europe and the world. This great racecourse was opened at the heart of Chantilly in 1834 and since that time has grown in prestige and popularity. There are many meetings throughout the year that attract visitors from across the region to chance their luck on the horses.
