Sadly much of the 12th and 13th Century wall of the town have been destroyed over the years, firstly by fighting, but also by them falling into disrepair. However, there are still sections of the wall remaining and some good looking towers that remain on the corners of some of the pieces of walls. It is a great vantage point to get your bearings from and enjoy the ancient charms of this good looking community.
