France was occupied for almost all of the Second World War and the people of the country suffered immensely under the Nazi oppressors. However, during this time, there was a great underground movement, that worked with the Allied forces and against the Germans, it called itself the French Resistance. This museum, through a variety of mediums and artefacts, helps tell the story of the brave people who refused to lie down and be defeated.
