This 15th Century medieval cathedral is one of the centrepieces of the town. It has for hundreds of years been an important part of the Catholic Church in France, but as the 20th Century moved on became less important in a practical sense and took on more of a ceremonial role. A fine piece of architecture it rises above the surrounding homes and offices, creating an iconic part of the local skyline.
