The Estates General Hall is one of the only surviving buildings within the chateau walls that have completely survived without having to be rebuilt. The wonderful building has a long and interesting history, originally being a type of court room where the counts of Blois presided over those that were accused of a crime. The wonderful construction is one of the best loved buildings in Blois and has been used in many film and television productions.
