St. Ětienne Church is one of the finer ecclesiastical buildings in the heart of Chinon. The fine structure has for many generations served as the principle place of worship and prayer for the local people. The church was built over a series of different stages and therefore shows signs of many different architectural styles from several hundred years, including Gothic and neoclassical. It is a fine place to take a stroll around and explore the intricate details.
