This fine cathedral towers over the old town in Bois. It isn’t actually the original construction. The first church on the site was destroyed in 1678 by a devastating hurricane which ripped through the area. This church therefore is an impressive Gothic monument, built in the 17th Century. It is well worth taking a stroll around the inside of the church to marvel at some of the fantastic carvings and stained glass windows.
