If Cannes is known for one thing, it is film. This beautiful little cinema is one of the best in the town, although it is largely overlooked by guidebooks and tourists. It doesn’t show any blockbuster movies, it is dedicated to the art of film making, and concentrates on art-house films. Each one is preceded with a short film, often by a talented local director. There is a good programme of films on offer every day. The cinema is used as part of the famous International Film Festival each year.
