This foundation is a large museum of art collected by the Parisian haute cotour designer Jacques Doucet. His private collection has been put on public display in this fine building at the heart of Avignon. The works in the gallery include many early pieces by some of the most famous names in the European art scene, including Picasso, Duchamp and Jacob. Also in the collection are a varied and eclectic series of antiques and artefacts from around the world.
